1. 01

   A new cohort begins

   Until February, you join one of two tracks

   • If you’re still new to AI and haven’t done much with itOUTTA Bootcamp

     You build your foundations with OUTTA’s own curriculum, then work through mini-projects and a capstone project.

   • If you know the AI basics and have done a project or some research, however smallOUTTA Study

     Join a paper-reading study, or contact a research team early and start a related study with them. Studies with a research team need the team lead’s approval.

2. 02

   Choosing a team

   Read each team’s introduction and apply to its lead

   • Team leads check each applicant’s skills. Bootcamp members present their capstone project; study members present the projects or research they’ve done.
   • A team lead may check other skills or hold an interview.
   • Every member is placed on exactly one team.
3. 03

   Team research

   Research freely under your team lead

   • Teams aim for acceptance at top-tier conferences or publication in leading journals.
   • Each team runs its own studies, experiments and paper writing.
   • All three gatherings (the kick-off, the mid-year showcase and the final showcase) are planned in person in Seoul; each team sets its own regular meeting times.
